Find your way around the app

The sidebar

The sidebar on the left has Albums, Songs, Artists, Music Directors, Folders, Favourites, Recently Played, Radio and Listening Stats. Below them are your Library Folders (or Collections) and your Playlists, and Settings sits at the bottom.

The player bar

The bar along the bottom controls playback. From left to right:

• Cover art: click it to open the cassette view. Click the song title to open its album, and the heart to add it to your favourites.
• Shuffle, Previous, Play/Pause, Next and Repeat (off, all, one), with the seek bar underneath.
• Mini player: a small always-on-top player.
• Cassette view: the big spinning cassette (Now Playing).
• Sound (the sliders icon): the equalizer, bass booster, Echo & Space, Playback settings and Surround 5.1. It turns amber and reads Sound (effects on) when an effect is active.
• Queue, Mute and the Volume slider.

Menus on everything

Right-click any song, album or folder (or click its ⋯ button) for actions like Play Next, Add to Queue, Add to Playlist, Edit Info…, Copy File, Export to Folder… and Show in Finder.
